Fire!! has a bright red cover with primitivist, cubist-inspired art by Aaron Douglas. Inside each cover is an ad for other little magazines: New Masses in the front, and Opportunity in the back. Within Fire's 48 pages are sections entirely devoted to visual and literary arts, with subdivisions for poetry, drawing, short fiction, plays, and a brief editorial comment.
